Our Certified Marriage and Relationship Coach coaching curriculum involves a comprehensive approach that combines education on human behavior, conflict resolution, and unconditional love, along with foundational coaching education and mentoring in group coaching. The curriculum addresses the unique complexities of romantic relationships and provide practical skills for fostering healthy, loving partnerships.

This curriculum is designed to equip aspiring marriage and relationship coaches with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to guide couples towards healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

COURSE CURRICULUM

Human Behavior, Conflict Resolution, and Unconditional Love Education (10 hours), coaching education (2 hours), mentor group coaching (2 hours) and certification.

Part 1: Education on Human Behavior, Conflict Resolution, and Unconditional Love (10 Hours)

1. Understanding Human Behavior in Relationships (2 Hours)

  • Psychological theories of love and attachment
  • Personality types and communication styles in relationships

2. Foundations of Conflict Resolution (2 Hours)

  • Identifying and addressing common sources of conflict in relationships
  • Effective communication strategies for conflict resolution

3. Principles of Unconditional Love (2 Hours)

  • Defining unconditional love in the context of a romantic relationship
  • Balancing unconditional love with personal boundaries and self-respect

4. Advanced Communication Skills (2 Hours)

  • Active listening and empathetic responses
  • Techniques for expressing needs and desires constructively

5. Integrating Knowledge for Relationship Coaching (2 Hours)

  • Case studies and role-playing exercises
  • Applying concepts of human behavior, conflict resolution, and unconditional love in coaching scenarios

Part 2: Coaching Education (2 Hours)

1. Coaching Principles and Ethics (1 Hour)

  • Core coaching competencies specific to marriage and relationship coaching
  • Ethical guidelines and professional standards in relationship coaching

2. Effective Coaching Techniques for Couples (1 Hour)

  • Techniques for coaching couples together and individually
  • Strategies for facilitating growth and change within relationships

Part 3: Mentoring Group Coaching (3 Hours)

1. Introduction to Group Coaching (1 Hour)

  • Benefits and challenges of group coaching for relationship issues
  • Strategies for facilitating group sessions effectively

2. Mentoring and Group Coaching Practice (1 Hour)

  • Conducting a mock group coaching session with peer participants
  • Feedback and reflective discussion on group coaching techniques

Supplementary Materials and Activities:

  • Recommended readings on relationship dynamics, communication, and love
  • Journaling or reflective exercises to deepen understanding
  • Peer coaching sessions for hands-on practice
  • Access to an online forum for ongoing discussions and support

Assessment and Certification:

  • Ongoing assessment through participation, role-playing exercises, and peer feedback
  • Final assessment: practical demonstration of coaching skills
  • Certification awarded upon successful completion of the program

CERTIFCATION OF COMPLETION!

Upon completing the BCA Coach Training Program, students will have the skills and knowledge to become effective, empathetic, and ethically responsible certified coaches. They will receive a certification as a Certified Empathy and Resilience Coach (CERC), which recognizes their proficiency in coaching.
